Our Head Chef, Beat Meier, manages a professional team of over 70 cooks and wait staff, ensuring every aspect of the dining experience is exceptional. Every meal is a great experience. Meier and his staff make dining more than just a meal.
Chef Meier’s passion for the culinary arts was sparked during his apprenticeship in his native country of Switzerland, beginning the culinary journey that would bring him to the United States, where he continued to establish his reputation and master his craft over the next 30+ years.
Chef Meier is best known around Harbor’s Edge for his ability to create dishes that are both delicious and nutritious – appreciated by all our residents. He states: “Pleasing every generation and every discerning palate with delicious and healthy cuisine is what we strive to achieve every day at Harbor’s Edge.”
Meier is committed to using locally sourced, fresh ingredients in true scratch-kitchen form. His dishes can be found throughout Harbor’s Edge at all dining locations. All five on-site restaurants and cafes promise a wonderful experience that goes beyond the plate. From the River Terrace to the upscale Harbor Room, it’s all up to you.
