Natalie Daugherty serves as Harbor’s Edge’s Assistant Health Services Administrator, overseeing Assisted Living and Memory Support. She has been a valued member of our community for over 9 years, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant just out of college. Natalie recently obtained her administrator license, allowing her to step up into this new role.
Natalie grew up just a few hours away in Hanover, VA, and was determined early on to go into health services. She earned her CNA license while still in high school, and then moved to Norfolk to attend Old Dominion University. While in college, she began working with Harbor’s Edge as a CNA and completed an internship in the social services department as she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services.
Following her graduation from ODU, Natalie began working with us as an administrative assistant, allowing her to continue learning and growing at Harbor’s Edge. From there, she progressed to a Life Care Coordinator, helping residents navigate the continuum of care. Next, Natalie served as a Health Services Specialist while completing her Administrator in Training program.
Now, after passing her boards, she has become the Assistant Health Services Administrator, overseeing and supporting our AL and Memory Support. Natalie has held many roles over the last decade at Harbor’s Edge, growing into a strong, capable administrator. We look forward to watching Natalie continue to grow and thrive here at Harbor’s Edge.
Natalie states: “I truly love coming to work every day to be with our amazing residents and staff. The residents have become family; in fact, one even officiated my wedding to my college sweetheart in November 2024, making Harbor’s Edge part of one of the most meaningful moments in my life.”
Harbor’s Edge is more than just a place to work and gain experience. It’s an environment for us all to connect and support one another throughout all facets of life.
