U.S. News & World Report Recognizes Excellence in Resident Satisfaction
NORFOLK, Va., April 15, 2025 – Harbor’s Edge, a premier Life Plan Community in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for Best Independent Living and as a Best Continuing Care Retirement Community, based on exceptional resident satisfaction.
Harbor’s Edge also achieved High Performing status in Independent Living-Activities & Enrichment, Independent Living-Feels Like Home and Independent Living-Food & Dining.
U.S. News evaluated over 3,800 communities nationwide for its 2025 Best Senior Living ratings, assessing residents’ and family members’ satisfaction with safety, care, community management and staff, value and other services and amenities. U.S. News announced the awards, now in their fourth year, on April 15.

” designation meet U.S. News’ rigorous, data-driven standard, reflecting viewpoints from more than 450,000 consumer surveys. Only the highest-rated communities in each care level earned a “Best” rating. “High Performing” accolades go to those scoring in the top 25% nationwide across several categories, reflecting their dedication to resident well-being.
