U.S. News evaluated over 3,000 communities nationwide for its 2026 Best Senior Living ratings, assessing residents’ and family members’ satisfaction with safety, care, community management and staff, value and other services and amenities. U.S. News announced the awards, now in their fifth year, on April 14.
In 2026, U.S. News analyzed data from more than 540,000 resident & family survey responses at more than 3,000 senior living communities nationwide. The survey asked residents and family members about their satisfaction with community safety, caregiving, activities, management, staff, food, value and other aspects of community life.
